Professional ceramic artists guide students through hand-building, glazing techniques and firing methods that create different surface finishes. Projects include teapots, lidded vessels, self-portraits in clay, mugs, dishes, vases, masks and more. With plenty of free exploration time, students work closely with instructors and receive lots of personal attention. By 3rd grade, students begin to use the potter’s wheel, bringing their skills to a whole new level. All materials are non-toxic and food safe.
